There’s a Co-op and Spar a couple of miles away at Tarleton. The small town of Leyland has a Tesco Express, Tesco Extra, Aldi, and a Morrisons. Southport will keep the family entertained, at the Ocean Plaza and Pleasureland, on the beach and on Marine Lake. For a quiet life, the countryside here is ideal for cycling, and you can walk for miles on the beaches and the pinewoods of Formby and Freshfield.
